Review - Colombiana

...

The next Catwoman has nothing on Zoe Saldana.

She rises to a new level of female badassness in Colombiana. The film will satify those hungry for action elements with its mist-like stealth, massive explosions, unique hand to hand combat, ample gun fights, violence, and thrilling chase scenes. Miss Saldana earns the spotlight in this action film with an emotional core.

Saldana and Cliff Curtis (who plays Zoe's Uncle) have excellent chemistry while they work through emotion and plot driven scenes. When they talk with each other you can feel the history and weight behind their voices.

The story is a Hamlet type tragedy, with revenge being the key plot point of the whole movie. Saldana's character is out for blood from Jordi Mollà (who plays the villian) and spills it from the word go. She is, after all, a cunning killer.

Saldana carries this film and I would definitely reccomend it to any action movie junkie out there. Now, who wants to help me start a #ZoeSaldana4Catwoman Twitter campaign?
